On a side note, we want to say thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth at the Brazos Valley Bridal Show today! We enjoyed meeting all of you and hope to meet with you again in the future!

*UPDATED* 3/31/09 I have a little delay, the new site should be live tonight…I came down with that nasty bug that is going around and it has slowed me down a bit…mind over matter and lots of OJ seems to be helping though ;) so check back this evening for the new site!

The other day I was so excited because my new gallery wraps AND one (another two are on thier way now) of my new “Story Book” albums for the studio arrived. I was like a giddy child opening up their birthday present! I wripped through the boxes so fast & furious I had trouble containing my giddyness…is that a word??? Well if it wasn’t before it is now!
Thank goodness my giddyness (yes I’m using it again, because I can) was somewhat contained as I flipped through the pages of the album. It’s always exciting & sweet when an album arrives…kind of like the icing on the wedding cake…sweet and so full of sugar it makes you excited. I flip’n love these albums & wraps, they are b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!

I work very hard in what I expect from an album along with working closely with my brides & grooms designing the layout of their albums. I love clean lines, and fresh designs that are free from clutter, and layered backgrounds& overlays…I’m not saying every album should follow that rule. There are exceptions, but I think albums are expected to last through styles, trends & generations, and simple designs always overcome trends. Always.

Zookbinders Album company prints and binds every album that is ordered through my studio. You will find my logo on the inside…the stamp of approval on every album that leaves my studio…

Well there has been a lot of boring old settled dust around here lately & I have been busy, busy, busy making changes to clean up that dust with updating my product line, website & the blog & preparing for the upcoming Bridal Show in College Station next weekend!…oh, and editing photos from weddings and portrait sessions of course.;)

One thing I did get figured out and got crossed off my list is, if you hadn’t noticed I finally managed to get BIGGER photos to post on the blog…finally! I love the bigger photos so much more, don’t you.

Also, something new is coming soon, a fresh new website for Dena Shipley Photography – Creative & Timeless Photography For Unique & Beautiful People! I have been working on it steady during my free time…which hasn’t been much lately, and I can’t wait to reveal the new site! I love it so far! Some new products will be revealed soon also, so excited about that!

And because I just can’t post without a photo here is a snapshot of the upcoming new site!
