So, something I have always wanted to do and that is on my list of goals is capture and be captured by some of our fellow photographers…who also happen to be friends. We met Kristi & Greg of Keepsake Foto last fall at the Brazos Valley Bridal Association’s yearly 2008 Fall Bridal Show. We didn’t have much time that year to visit with each other, and months passed until we ran across each other again at this year’s Spring Bridal Show…where somehow with all brides and grooms that visited us, we managed to take a few minutes and visit with each other, exchange phone numbers and suggest getting together again. We later met a couple of other times with some more of our fellow photogs in the area, and have since become friends through our common love of photography.

So…this is all going somewhere I promise…the wheels in my brain start spinning, and I thought to myself why not, why not see if Kristi & Greg are up for have some photos of them shot and vice versa, plus I have been wanting to update our site with some photos of Kenny & I that weren’t of us shooting each other with cameras stuck to our faces. I admire Kristi & Greg and their photographic art. Needless to say, after talking to Kristi about my plan, they were completely up for the idea. Kristi informed me that most of their photos of the four of them usually have one of them missing in the photo…for obvious reasons (that’s the onlydownside to being a photographer) you’re never able to be a part of the photographs.
So last weekend we headed out to downtown Bryan, and started snapping away. Their two little adorable boys were fun to capture, and Kristi & Greg, their love for each other is obvious…you see they had a very scary, life threatening moment last year, and they embrace every moment of their life together…and it shows, completely.

Kenny & I are heading for what has become a yearly trip to Leakey, TX in November since getting married there last year. I LOVE Leakey, TX LOOOOOVVVEEE it!…Kristi & Greg will be there also, and then we’ll be the one’s on the other side of the lens and we are so looking forward to it!

Kristi & Greg, we had a fabulous time with you, and we thank you for allowing us to capture you and your family, and give you the chance to be on the other side of the lens for a change!

Much love and appreciation

*An Update* to – Goals, Hopes, & Desires…We All Have Them
I’m trying really hard to stay focused on my goals, and blogging about them here is helping to keep me focused. There have been a few that I have been able to complete! So I wanted to share them with you all, and share my progress, and also put out there a few reminders on some things I’m working that I need your help with! So check out what’s been crossed off so far

Also a reminder for our “Giving is Awesome” charitable photography organization that we joined. Please be sure to read this very important post, everything you need to know about nominating someone for a Lifestyle Portrait session is in this post.
