She lived below him in the complex they rented their apartment at. He saw her numerous times when she arrived from work, dressed sophisticated and appearing out of his league. His desire to approach her and ask her out brought butterflies on and filling him up…until one night when the butterflies were finally released. He was out on a random Wednesday at Mad Hatters, and she was there. She was there with a friend, after their workout session, in her workout clothes ;) Feeling less out of her league, he approached her, and with the first syllable ready to roll off his tongue, she quickly said “hey aren’t you that guy that lives above me?” As the cliché goes, the rest is history.

We’re so excited to be shooting Bristol & Tristen’s wedding this October at A&M United Methodist Church and their reception celebration held at Astin Mansion
This is part II of I, we shot their E-session in late February before leaving for WPPI so I didn’t have a chance to do a full blog post on their E-session until now. We met at the GB Library at A&M, and then headed to downtown Bryan, TX. I brought some fun stuff along for us to play with during their E-session; like the red balloons and then we used some bullets for the shot of Bristol’s engagement ring. Why the bullets? Well, Tristen recently took a job at CSPD and is also attending the police academy, hence the bullets in honor of Tristen.

Enjoy! And please don’t be afraid to leave us some comments and blog love!

A small sneak peek of Bristol & Tristen’s E-session. I’ll share a full sneak peek with details when I return from WPPI on Thursday, but I know Bristol & Tristen are excited and anxious to see their photos, so here is part 1 of 2 of their E-session.

Enjoy!

Here we are; our 18th installment of ‘Sunday’s – A Year In Our Life’
I have been preparing for WPPI 2010, As some of you may know already, I recently won a FULL Registration Pass for this year’s WPPI Convention and Trade show in Las Vegas! Thank you Leather Craftsmen and David Willis my rep over at LC! I’m so excited and seriously can’t wait to arrive. Attending WPPI has been a goal (read about that here) of mine since missing last year’s WPPI, and this will be my first time attending WPPI and definitely not my last based on the percentage rate of those who attend following their first time.
I’m anxious to get there and hit as many platform classes, workshops, & photo shoots given by some of the greats in our industry as I possibly can, meet other great photogs, say hello to some of the amazingly fabulous vendors I’m so lucky to work with (and thank them), hit the events & parties and lose myself in the 2 floor trade show at the MGM Grand, all without not much sleep I assume ;)!
I know I’m going to come back with a head full of ideas, plans, and very helpful info on all of the great new technology and ways to better my photography and keep it fresh and up to date and fun!

Enjoy and we hope you all have a fabulous week!!!

Adeus for now!
