Katie & Kyle will be getting married this coming June at one of our favorite venues; Messina Hof Winery in Bryan, TX. We’re so excited to be working with Becky Tucker again, wedding coordinator extraordinaire over at the Hof.
A couple of weeks ago we met Katie & Kyle in downtown Calvert, TX to begin their engagement session and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. The weather was perfect, with a nice breeze to add to the feel of their session. Downtown Calvert is quickly becoming a favorite amongst our wedding couples for their engagement photos. It’s such a fun, quiet, interesting little town just north of Bryan on HWY 6. After shooting some in downtown Calvert, we headed back to downtown Bryan to have some fun there as well, these photos in downtown Bryan are some of my fav’s from their e-session!

Katie & Kyle, we can’t wait for your special day, we had too much fun with you and we’re looking forward to even more fun! Hoping the house hunting in beautiful WY is going well, and we’ll see ya when y’all return!
Now we won’t hold you in suspense any longer, here is sneak peek part I of II from Katie & Kyle’s E-session. Enjoy!

Adeus for now!

She lived below him in the complex they rented their apartment at. He saw her numerous times when she arrived from work, dressed sophisticated and appearing out of his league. His desire to approach her and ask her out brought butterflies on and filling him up…until one night when the butterflies were finally released. He was out on a random Wednesday at Mad Hatters, and she was there. She was there with a friend, after their workout session, in her workout clothes ;) Feeling less out of her league, he approached her, and with the first syllable ready to roll off his tongue, she quickly said “hey aren’t you that guy that lives above me?” As the cliché goes, the rest is history.

We’re so excited to be shooting Bristol & Tristen’s wedding this October at A&M United Methodist Church and their reception celebration held at Astin Mansion
This is part II of I, we shot their E-session in late February before leaving for WPPI so I didn’t have a chance to do a full blog post on their E-session until now. We met at the GB Library at A&M, and then headed to downtown Bryan, TX. I brought some fun stuff along for us to play with during their E-session; like the red balloons and then we used some bullets for the shot of Bristol’s engagement ring. Why the bullets? Well, Tristen recently took a job at CSPD and is also attending the police academy, hence the bullets in honor of Tristen.

Enjoy! And please don’t be afraid to leave us some comments and blog love!
